Who we are

Collegio Don Bosco is one of the 11 public colleges managed by EDiSU Pavia, the University of Pavia’s Regional Agency for the Right to University Education. Founded in 1965 by the Salesian Congregation of Don Bosco, it became part of the EDiSU college system in 2023 thanks to significant PNRR co-funding.
Today it is a mixed college hosting 95 university students, offering them not just accommodation but a community life experience made up of shared study, personal growth, and sports and cultural activities. The College is led by Prof. Gloria Brusotti, a researcher at the University of Pavia’s Department of Drug Sciences.

Our values

Life at Collegio Don Bosco is inspired by the values of equality, impartiality, transparency and participation that have always animated Pavia’s college tradition. The aim is to carry forward the Salesians’ long-standing educational tradition, applying it today with attention to cultural exchange, personal development and higher education open to all deserving students, without forgetting the value of sport as a moment of growth and togetherness.

Culture and community life

Like all EDiSU Colleges, Collegio Don Bosco promotes activities that complement academic studies: tutoring, foreign language courses, cultural initiatives such as seminars, conferences, concerts and film screenings, as well as opportunities for students from different backgrounds to socialise. There are also opportunities for study trips and discounted tickets for exhibitions, concerts and theatre performances.

Every year Collegio Don Bosco offers a calendar of cultural, sporting and social events open to all students, an opportunity to experience college life beyond the classroom, making new friends and sharing moments of growth.

Where we are

The College is located at via San Giovanni Bosco 4, in the south-east area of Pavia, just a short walk from Collegio Cardano. It is about 3 km from the railway station: 35 minutes on foot, 15 minutes by bicycle, 15 minutes by bus or 10 minutes by car. Urban bus lines no. 3, no. 3C and no. 2 stop just a short walk from the College entrance.
